Only a couple more days until Halloween, and it seems like a lot of people are still searching for costume ideas. The article I wrote about costume ideas for college students has gotten a bunch of hits over the past few days. It seems like most college students are procrastinators when it comes to coming up with a Halloween costume. (If you see a bunch of people with bags over their heads this Halloween, you can thank me.)
Despite trying to help others come up with costume ideas, I still don’t have one for myself. The problem with talking to friends about costume ideas is that if they have a really good one, they won’t tell you what it is, because they want it to be a surprise.

This is why I love the Internet. Here you can openly share or brag about your costume ideas without ruining the surprise. In fact, you can do it anonymously, semi-anonymously, or non-anonymously if you’d like. Most importantly, you can help people, like me, who are still trying to figure out what to dress up as for Halloween.
So what are you dressing up as for Halloween this year?

Oh, I did a post like this on YoungMoneyTalks, too! If I were going to dress up, I would totally be the fork in the fork and spoon costume set that I linked to in the post. It’s one of the funniest thinks I have ever seen in my life.
“Sexy” or “naughty” anything is good, especially if you’re being ironic.
I’m gonna be lame and go w/ my traditional “Rock Star” look. I already sport a hawk, so just gotta add a little eye liner and black nail polish and i’m set! nice and cheap
The best costumes are always those based off innocuous everyday items. I’ve seen a lot of “couples” costumes online – electrical plug & socket, bacon & eggs, etc. I’ve always wanted to dress up as milk & cookies with someone! A costume I’ve always wanted to do is a satellite (e.g. http://blog.wired.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/02/12/satellite.jpg). Cut holes in a box so you can wear it, cover in with tinfoil and random fiddly tinfoil bits, and paint both sides of a cut-up different box blue. Voila!
My fiance and I are going as characters from the Zelda video game – I’m going to be Link, and he’s going to be Princess Zelda.
OMG! This public toilet costume is absolutely rock! One of the most ridiculous that I could never imagine!
