Book Giveaway: Paying For College Without Going Broke 2009 Edition

by Broke Grad on February 15, 2009

I’m excited to announce another giveaway here at Broke Grad Student. I recently reviewed The Princeton Review’s Paying For College Without Going Broke 2009 Edition. It’s filled with tons of helpful information that demystifies the college financial aid process and how it works.

Paying For College Without Going Broke is definitely worth buying if you’re a parent with kids about to start or currently attending college. The knowledge you gain from reading the book can help you and your children save hundreds or thousands of dollars over the course of their college careers.

Now for some good news. I have 6 copies of Paying For College Without Going Broke 2009 to giveaway to my readers, so if you’d like a chance to win a free copy of this book, keep reading.

How To Enter

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment below. Please use a valid email address, since I have to be able to contact you if you win. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.

How To Win

Winners will be selected at random (unless I only receive 6 entries) using a random number generator. I will be doing one drawing per week over the next three weeks and selecting two winners each time. The drawings will occur on:

  • Monday, February 23 — Congrats to #16 Kelli and #38 Susan!
  • Monday, March 2 — Congrats to #50 Eileen and #58 Jessie!
  • Monday, March 9

Entries must be received by 11:59 PST on the Sunday before the drawing date to be eligible. If you don’t win, your entry will rollover into the next drawing. This means the sooner you enter, the better your chances of winning. Good luck!

I’ve been to college financial aid nights, seminars, etc. but I’m still confused about the best way to plan & pay for college for my child.

Hopefully, I get lucky and get a copy of this book to help me!

Last semester, my total cost of books was $640 – about the same as my tuition, so I can only afford to take one class at a time. Therefore, any amount of money that would decrease the cost of my books would be help and greatly appreciated. This is a great program, and I hope it works for those that are most deserving. Thank you.

Sigh… you’ve triggered me on my damn expensive school loan that I have to pay off for the next 15 years… sad…
