How To Make $24 With CashCrate Right Now

by Broke Grad on December 7, 2007

About a month ago, I started making money with CashCrate. It’s a simple way for broke college students (or anyone else who’s broke) to earn a few extra dollars in their spare time. How does earning $24/hr sound? Well, I’m about to share some tips on how you can make $24 with CashCrate in less than an hour.

Trial offers are the quickest way to earn money with CashCrate. Of course, you only make money if you the offer clears with CashCrate, and you remember to cancel the trial. Here are 3 trial offers that I successfully completed, canceled, and cleared last month. If you complete these offers, you’ll be $24 richer by the time you’re done. (Note: You must have a credit card to complete these offers).

Yahoo Success Center
Sign-up for a free trial. ($15.00 – $1.95 S&H = $13.05)

Despite the $1.95 charge, this trial was actually the easiest and quickest to complete and cancel. Signing up took a matter of minutes. The $15 cleared into my CashCrate account within a couple of hours. Canceling the account was as simple as calling and saying, “I want to cancel my account.”

Time Spent: 10 minutes

eFax or eVoice
Sign-up for a free 30 day trial. ($5.00)

Choose one of these offers. You won’t get credited if you do both, because they’re the same company. This offer cleared pretty quickly as well. Unfortunately, canceling this trial is more of a hassle. I ended up canceling through their live chat system. You can get to it by clicking on “Live Sales Chat” on their Contact Us page. They will try to make offers to convince you to extend or keep your account, but you just have to keep telling them that you want to cancel the account now.

Time Spent: 15 minutes

Go Free Credit
Sign-up for a free trial. ($6.00)

The great thing about this trial offer is that it’s useful for everyone. With this trial, you get a free credit report, and you get to see your credit score. This is something everyone should check anyway. It was easy to cancel this trial by calling their customer support.

Time Spent: 15 minutes

Earn Some Extra Cash

As you can see, with only about 40 minutes of your time, you can easily earn $24.05. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Join CashCrate for free.
  2. Sign up for the free trials I mentioned above.
  3. Wait for the offers to clear (1-2 days).
  4. Cancel the free trials.
  5. Receive a check for $24 with your name on it next month!
  6. Tell your friends, so they can do it too!

Its a shame the e-bay offer is gone but luckily I caught that one before it disappeared. I’ve got about 25 bucks waiting for the December payout. I’ll go try these three offers later, I haven’t gotten in to the free trial ones yet other than the e-bay one. I also try to do one or two of the daily surveys each day…if I complete both every day, its 48 bucks at the end of the month. Thanks for the tip, I’m glad I signed up!

Great! Glad my tips have been helpful. The eBay offer was great. I’m glad you completed it before it was gone. I’m anxiously awaiting my first check from my November earnings.

Nice list. I’ve always wondered about people canceling their cc offers, but since cashcrate are Nazi’s about not discussing that on their forum, I’ve never read about it. Thanks for posting it, I think I’m going to try the CC offers now.

To call up and cancel your account, do you need to live in the US?

5 Broke Grad Student July 29, 2008 at 11:53 pm

Dave: It varies by offer. Most offers are for US / Canada residents only.

thanks for the information, i got some trouble with cashcrate, my first offer from Surveyhead. until now, I am not yet got some offer from surveyhead…

Do you have to do the cc offers? Can you just do the surveys or do you have to sign up for the offers to do the surveys and then cancel a couple days later? I am still wondering how this site works…

lily: No, you do not have to do the cc offers. The surveys are completely separate, so you can just stick to them if you want. However, most of the surveys pay less than $1, so it takes more time and effort to earn the same amount of money as you could by doing the cc offers.

I know cash crate works too – I’ve made over $75/month for several months running – made over $114 last month!

Keys:
1. offers
2. Referrals and lots of them

and not necessarily in that order.

CashCrate is certainly not a scam. I’ve made a good bit of money with it and so have a couple friends of mine. I like the site. It’s kind of addicting once you start making some money on it.

If you have any Canadian readers who want to take advantage of this, I have 20 referrals left (but the Canadian one is only $13 instead of $25. Better then nothing though!)

I’ve been putting off signing up, but I might have to give it a shot one of these days. Thanks for the review. Seems like a decent way to make a grip of cash.

I love CashCrate. Every month I receive a 50-100 check in the mail for doing absolutely nothing. It’s like free money. Best money making site ever!
