How I’ve Made Over $500 with CashCrate

by Broke Grad on February 20, 2009

I haven’t met very many people that would turn down an opportunity to make some extra cash. We could all use a little extra money every once in awhile. One of the more popular Get Paid To sites is CashCrate. By filling out surveys and completing trial offers, you can earn some extra money in your spare time.

I joined CashCrate last November and made $100 in the first three months. The majority of that money was earned by completing trial offers, and while it is easy money, I’m not going to lie. The process can be tedious and painful if you don’t have any guidance.

Fortunately, I documented the steps I took in successfully completing (and canceling) three trial offers and shared it in how to make $24 with CashCrate right now. Of course, you can only complete each offer once, so eventually, you’ll run out of offers to complete. However, this doesn’t mean you’ll stop earning money with CashCrate.

Thanks to the referral program, there’s a simple way to make more extra money with CashCrate — tell your friends. CashCrate has a generous referral program where you receive 20% of your referrals’ earnings and a $3.00 bonus for each referral who meets the $10 minimum payout.

While the first $100 I made with CashCrate were primarily from completing offers and filling out surveys, I’ve done practically no offers or surveys since then. I’ve earned the remaining $400+ through referrals by writing helpful CashCrate tips and sharing my knowledge to help my readers earn some extra cash.

Now that you’re working – do you still think it’s worth your time?

I definitely still think it’s worth my time, because I really don’t spend that much time on CashCrate anymore. As I mentioned above, I don’t do offers or surveys anymore. All the money I make is through referrals, which has become a nice source of passive income as I’ve continued to grow this blog.

I have to check this out. The only income I get from blogging is through good ole adsense, and let me tell you, it’s not much… Thanks again!

If you have the ability to get a lot of cashcrate referrals than you can end up making a very large sum with them. Keep up the work. I hope you end up paying back your debt!

Cheers

Wow you have an awesome blog I guess that’s how you got your referral!

Would you like to link exchange or perhaps tell me what should I do to improve mine? http://tricks-about-cashcrate.blogspot.com Thanks. =)

I LOVE cashcrate! I’ve been a member for a little over 2 months now and i’ve made about $120! I’ve only done free offers and surveys. You’re allowed to complete 2 surveys per day, and they pay $.80 each. Essentially, you can make and extra $48 per month just by spending 20 minutes of your day doing surveys. Not bad for extra income.
