While we're the ones who ultimately decide to spend the money, our friends play an important role in that. I have a girlfriend that I love hanging out with, but I won't go shopping with her anymore. I don't know what it is about this one friend, but I just spend way too much money when I'm around her. I can't seem to control myself, I just sort of loose touch with reality. My opinion is that I get caught up in her excitement and just let loose. So, yeah. I don't go shopping with her anymore! I definitely think friends have an influence over our spending habits.
