I don’t like writing about politics, but not mentioning this year’s election would be like not blogging on February 29 during a leap year. With record numbers of voters registered, long lines are expected on Election Day this Tuesday. That’s why I stood in line for close to an hour to vote early yesterday, and I have the sticker to prove it. How about you?

MD doesn’t have early voting (yet) so I’m stuck in the lines tomorrow. I do get to take off from work 30 minutes early, though…I’ll call that a win.
yup!! I voted last week…ordered my mail-in ballot a month ago, and voted in my bed, using my laptop to get the latest on the issues. Then I dropped it off by hand at the Registrar of Voters, to make sure it went exactly where it needed to.
I’m never standing in line to vote again, unless its necessary! whoohoo!
Nope, although i was trying to research about MD – so thanks Becca! It’s all good though, i like voting with the masses on Election Day. it’s fun
I’m done! (Proudly wearing the sticker today – it earned me a free doughnut from Tim Horton’s)
Yes, but they were already out of stickers. On the plus side, my area normally has 80% eligible voter turnout and is expecting even more today. So at least being out of stickers means my area cares…
But I’m very sad I didn’t get a sticker. This was my first year not voting absentee.
Mrs. Micah: It could also be due to people, like me, who were so excited to vote early that I grabbed two stickers.
You can’t grab two stickers!
Voting was fun and quick today, gotta love going at off-peak times.
