How far would you be willing to go to pay off your student loans?
A 22-year-old Sacramento State grad seeks to pay off her student loans by auctioning off her virginity at the infamous Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
Using the pseudonym Natalie Dylan, the 22-year-old virgin is ready to sell her virginity to eliminate her student debt and to finance grad school.
“I think empowerment of women is picking yourself up and doing something on your own to better yourself,” says Dylan.
Natalie Dylan’s stepfather allegedly applied for student loans in her name and then ran off with the money, leaving her with the debt. After earning her bachelor’s degree in women’s studies at Sacramento State, she plans to get her master’s degree in family and marriage counseling beginning in January, but she needs a way to pay for it.
From a purely financial point of view, I must admit — this plan is brilliant. From a moral point of view, it’s debatable, but don’t be too quick to judge her. Natalie says her virginity won’t simply go to the highest bidder. “I’m looking for intelligence and an overall nice person,” says Dylan.
“When I was younger, I wanted 100% romance, possibly even wait for marriage. But as I grew up, reality kinda hit. And I think its a capitalistic society, and I want to capitalize on this,” explains Dylan.
With bidding up to $250,000 already, it looks like she may be well on her way to capitalizing on her 22-year-old virginity. I think it’s time to update my list of 25 tips and ideas for paying back student loans and unusual ways to get money for college.

Call me a prude, but what kind of counselling is a woman with those type of morals going to provide anyone?
I’ve seen something similar before, and I’ll bet this one turns out similar. In that case some uber-rich dude won the auction, then donated the money to the girl without taking delivery of the ‘service’.
This girl is applying the fun ‘would you ever….?’ hypothetical game to real life.
I hope Blake is right about the outcome of this. I’m the first to admit that losing your virginity is not necessarily special, romantic, or with someone you even care about. But that doesn’t mean it should be a commodity.
I would love to get rid of my debts, too, but I’m not about to turn to prostitution to do it. Instead, I got a better paying job and we changed the way we budgeted our money to have more to put towards debt. I can’t help but feel like she is taking the easiest way out of this, not to mention getting publicity and attention which it seems like everyone wants. I’ve got zero respect for this girl.

I can not believe that she can’t get her student aid in some other fashion and I’m not so sure about the story of her step-father getting the money and not being held responsible.

As sad as it seems from a business perspective it’s actually a great marketing ploy and in this country someone is sure to pay the price. If nothing else it will get them publicity and even if it’s negative, sometimes any publicity is better than no publicity.
There are people out there who have bad morals who don’t sell themselves. You can’t judge her based off of this and who knows, she maybe she does have some intelligence to offer to the world.
From a personal reflection the girl is extremely ugly and is nowhere worth the price of $1 Mil.

As far as morals and ethics are concerned, this girl is as low as you can possibly get. Imagine what her parents feel like, I would love to meet them and ask them about their daughter. I am sure she has zero respect for her parents. What is this girl going to do with a million dollars? I doubt she will do the right thing with it, she will blow it all and it will be gone.

I agree completely with Jamie and have no respect for this girl. There are alot of people out there in the same boat as she is, yet she feels she deserves to get money by selling herself. Its prostitution no matter what way you look at it. I have to pay 100,000 back in student loans when I am out of college so she should get a job and work her ass of like the rest of the people who do it.

I couldn’t agree with you more, I think what she’s doing isn’t right, I’m playing devils advocate here. Just cause you or others think it’s wrong, who is anybody to tell her she can’t do this? She is taking the right way to go about doing this by setting it up in the “legal” moonlight bunny ranch. I don’t suggest you or anyone else should look as this as a quick money scheme to make money, and think hard work is the right way. But she’s doing this on her own, no one is forcing her, so let her be.

what this girl is really saying is that the empowerment of women is turning into prostitution! I’m sorry but this is the way she’s putting it. She can do much better than turning into prostitution, which is what she’s doing. The REAL empowerment of women is bettering ourselves to become professionals. I feel that she is just a bit lazy to get up, find a job, and work real hard to pay off her loans. What kind of professional will she be with this kind of morality? And I doubt that she will be taken seriously later on as a professional because who will want to hire her? This will certainly NOT look good in her portfolio, and what kind of sane person would go to her for counseling advice?????!
I doubt anyone that will be looking for counseling would research their counselor all that much, in 5 years no one will remember her. Most ppl TRUST that their professional counselors would be moral ppl, or at least more stable then themselves.
Wouldn’t surprise me if this never negatively effected her career down the road, assuming she doesn’t decide to stay at this ranch and make her living that way.
I still find it all sad, regardless of how things pan out in the future, this cant be a stable person emotionally.

That’s about the only funny part of this whole story. On one hand it’s sad someone would need to resort to this type of stunt to get attention. On the other hand, how many hundreds or thousands of college students and single moms take to the stripper’s pole each night just to get by and earn a living.
It’s distressing to imagine other girls following such a lead and ending in bad results. Somewhere along the line someone could have taken some time to teach this girl and other girls how important a savings account is instead of just teaching an easy way out.

People give up their virginity at the blink of an eye for nothing, young girls have sex with tons of men/boys for free everyday that’s what is digusting. When people get older sex becomes something we ‘re often a little less hung up about. There are many people who go out every weekend to pick someone new up… I personally find this a little distasteful. But it does highlight a difference in attitudes and prejudices from what I see here in the comments.

I’ve realized throughout my years that there are many ways to make money. I could have started a couple of niche celebrity blogs and gossip blogs and made 10 times what I make at http://www.zencollegelife.com, but for me the money isn’t pure. No its not as bad as selling cigarettes and alcohol or opening a casino, but I want to make a good honest living. I want to be paid for good hard work, not sleezy methods. I have had terrible ppl in my life that have hurt me a great deal, and I dont want anything bad to happen to them either.
