December was yet another eventful month here at Broke Grad Student, but not in a good way. My blog was hacked just before the end of the year, and it was down for almost a week before I had time to get it up and running again over the holiday break. Now it’s gradually picking up speed again as I think I’ve finally recovered from the holidays, but could someone please explain how it’s already mid-January?
Let’s take a look at last month’s stats.

By far, the worst month I’ve had in a long time. Traffic definitely slowed down around the holidays with the exception of making it into Trent’s Christmas Roundup. Then the entire site went down at the end of the month after the hack. Ouch.
